What I dislike about A– simple email service is that it’s pretty obsolete – nobody else uses it, and it’s just not a service that is easily compatible with anything else.

A simple “Cart Abandonment” email requires many “Dotdigital Experts” to look at it and edit it but it still fails after serval attempts. (FYI, we took almost 4 months back and forth to on it)

A simple “Back in stock” email will send “re-confirm email to customer” to re-confirm whether they want to subscribe again and if customer do not respond to the email, the “Back in stock” will not be captured and customer will not be notified.

Furthermore, the re-confirm email are not able to edit anything, the branding and the tone of the email are fixed. How flexible and hasslefree is this for our customers and who in the world will expect to still receive a re-confirmation email when they subscribe to the “back in stock” in any online store?

If there is something that Dotdigital cannot fix, they will still ask you to go to fill up their “Dotdigital Roadmap” to help them plan and review all the things that they are not able to fix.
