Reviews for motel

The importance of reviews in the hospitality industry is undeniable. They help improve service quality and serve as a reliable source of information for potential clients.

Effectively gathering feedback from guests becomes a strategic task for any motel. For all who aim to develop and meet the needs of their audience.

How to get reviews for motel

Active use of online platforms

One of the most effective ways to obtain reviews is by creating and actively maintaining your motel profiles on popular online platforms such as TripAdvisor, Booking.com, and Airbnb.

Regularly update information about your motel. Add photos and respond to client reviews.

Incentives through loyalty programs

Creating loyalty programs that include bonuses for leaving comments encourages clients to provide active feedback. For example, offering additional discounts or free services for writing a review can significantly increase the number of feedbacks and improve your rating indicators.

Conducting satisfaction surveys

Regularly conducting surveys among guests after their stay provides valuable feedback and encourages clients to actively participate in shaping the overall impression of the hotel.

Use various survey methods, including online forms and physical questionnaires on-site.

Organizing events and contests

Organizing themed events or contests within the facility is an effective way to prompt guests to leave comments. For example, you could hold monthly prize drawings among those who have left a review on your website or booking platforms.

Effective feedback collection from clients

Collecting effective feedback from clients is a way to improve service quality and increase trust among your audience. Use different methods to gather feedback, maintain active communication with guests, and never forget the importance of each opinion for your business.

Examples of motel reviews

Below are real reviews from real clients (company names not mentioned).

1

Absolutely not customer-oriented. It feels like the hotel is stuck in an era from 30 years ago.

Let me give you a piece of advice, there is a wonderful hotel “GZHATSK” nearby! Initially, they gave us an uncleaned room.

With the bedding off and the mattress flipped. Then they changed it to another one.

The rooms are generally clean. The plumbing is new.

There is a TV. Cons: -No air conditioning in the rooms, only fans.

-Old refrigerators. -The first room had old Soviet dishes.

-No drinking water or kettle. -Very long check-in.

Foreigners will have a very hard time checking in! If they get checked in at all!

2

Terrible service, had a double room but only one towel, etc. And the breakfast is a quiet horror, don’t go if you don’t want to spoil your mood for the whole day.

It was still decent two years ago.

3

Expected more! Upon entering, the administrator sits in a glass booth.

Everything has long been open to people and there are open counters.

Feels like I’m back in the 90s. The room inventory is old, but to its credit, it’s not ruined and is maintained.

Breakfast, only called that, no choice, you get whatever comes up in turn. The sign in the elevator made me shudder, when the maintenance will be, is unclear.

Such places are usually not called a hotel in Russia. More like a dorm.

The doors in the rooms are thin and rattle. Took a single room, the bed squeaked when turning, what if I wasn’t alone?

I’d like to believe other beds there are different. Can’t really call it a cafe or a cafeteria…

4

The rooms require repairs, specifically problems with water pressure namely the pressure is like that of a fire truck and can’t be adjusted properly. Service is extremely poor, during check-in the girl is constantly talking on the phone, you wait for 15 minutes.

The cafe at the hotel is expensive. Overall quite clean.

The convenience in the room is like in a Soviet hotel, the sockets short out the electricity. Be careful.

The price of the room is reasonable. The location of the hotel is convenient.

5

Pleasant renovation in the room, it was unusual that we were checked into a room without a window, however, the presence of an exhaust and air conditioning negates this point)

The room is very clean, literally fresh linen is laid before check-in, they do important cleaning)

The only thing that can be noted as a minus – is the proximity to a bar where music plays late at night, etc.
