Things have deteriorated… either other craftsmen or something else.

Update on the administration issue, several recent examples: brought boots for gluing – they forgot to glue one side, replaced the sole, it burst on both after two months of wearing, and the last – boots, “squish” when walking, localized the place and brought it in for repair, the woman at the reception said there’s nothing wrong and anyway you have a molded sole (?), after persuading she went to the master and reported she would take it without any guarantee, no guarantee of what?

Quality? Preservation?

Gave a jacket for repair to a seamstress. When I picked it up, the zipper was broken.

How? We handed it over with a working zipper, why did you break it?

I don’t understand the positive reviews. Everything I’ve had done – the quality is below average, to put it mildly.

Restoration/painting – on the level of DIY home care. Suede boots were sewn in with a fitting so tight I couldn’t get into them, had to stretch them, and they were stretched so much I had to have them taken in again.

Naturally, the leather suffered from such manipulations. After some time, the seam where it was sewn (boots are worn loosely) burst.

And the question is not about the quality of the boots.
