Reviews for affiliate marketing software services and analysis of user reviews about your competitors

Lots of fraudulent accounts. Lots of stolen credit cards.

They are really bad at monitoring this. They should remove these “partners” immediately when any fraud is detected, but they just keep them rolling.

They have terrible terrible customer service and account management. They are very slow to respond and oftentimes takes 3 attempts.

Their finance team is the worst and almost never available.

They also have a very outdated UI that is difficult to use and looks like it’s from the 1980s still.

I personally do not like how C– sets up their reporting and how you can’t really customize it to what you really need. Reporting is setup by Affiliate, Advertiser, and Offer separately.

Compared to other servers I’ve used, this becomes more of a hassle, because you have to cross check reports with three different tabs.

For example, if I go into the Affiliate reporting tab, it will show all necessary numbers for just the source, but it shows no information about what they are running unless you dig deeper with the cards that pop up.

If you go into the Offer tab, there is no way you can pinpoint one affiliate running a specific offer unless you export the whole report and go in and find that information to extract it.

The worst support experience in 5+ years of digital tools & products. I have now switched to Tapfiliates, who have answered my question in 5 minutes that has gone unanswered more than 2 weeks by LeadDyno.

How can I trust a company with my tens of thousands of dollars of affiliate sales when it takes over 2 weeks to actually talk to someone (still haven’t gotten in touch, so could be longer).

My feeling is, and after reading the reviews on other review sites – if you’re an easy customer, you’ll have a decent experience. If you have trouble or questions about integrations or anything custom, or if they deem you “too much work” they simply won’t answer you.

My theory is they are severely understaffed and couldn’t be bothered to take care of customers they deem “hard work”. It’s a shame because they have a nice product!

The chat support knows NOTHING about anything technical. Literally nothing.

Not even basics about the features of the platform. I’ve tried calling their “support” phone number 7 times over the past 2 weeks and was not ONCE able to speak to someone.

Every time it ended up in a voicemailbox. What’s the point of having a phone that you never answer?

I’ve tweeted at them, emailed them, opened tickets, scheduled calls. I was stood up for 2 calls I scheduled and not notified or even apologized to.

My questions aren’t even that complex – I just feel like they couldn’t be bothered.

I saw the response that the CEO gave to another customer in one of these review sites and he mentioned something about “problem customers” and I was appalled. All customers are customers.

You can’t just pick and choose who to attend to based on how “easy” they are. That’s a ridiculous excuse for poor service.

If you offer a functionality or integration you should be able to explain how it works and troubleshoot the issues. And you should definitely answer your phone!!

For me, support makes or breaks a company. I can’t trust a company that won’t even pick up its phone.

And you shouldn’t either! These are thousands of dollars we’re talking about, and you should take them somewhere that the company actually values you.

Real review to a real Affiliate Marketing Software service

Affiliate marketing remains a potent tool for driving sales and increasing online presence. As such, the demand for robust and efficient affiliate marketing software is higher than ever.

However, numerous providers in this niche have stumbled, as evidenced by common complaints found in customer reviews.

This article examines these grievances and offers specific strategies for how owners of Affiliate Marketing Software services can enhance their offerings to outpace the competition.

Poor tracking accuracy

What competitors get wrong: One of the most critical issues reported by users is inaccurate or unreliable tracking of affiliate actions. This error leads to affiliates not being properly credited for their sales or actions, resulting in disputes and dissatisfaction among the affiliate base.

How to do it better: To ensure your software stands out, invest in high-quality tracking technology that accurately captures every click, sale, and commission. Use advanced algorithms and up-to-date tracking methods such as pixel tracking, API integrations, and cookie-less tracking options to ensure reliability and accuracy.

Transparency in reporting and real-time data access can further enhance trust and usability.

Complicated interface and poor usability

What competitors get wrong: Many affiliate marketing platforms are criticized for their clunky and outdated interfaces, which can deter both affiliates and advertisers from fully engaging with the software.

Complex navigation and a steep learning curve can lead to reduced effectiveness and slower campaign implementation.

How to do it better: Focus on developing a user-friendly interface that caters to users of all technological proficiencies. Streamline the dashboard and ensure key functionalities are accessible within a few clicks.

Offer customizable views and interactive tutorials to help new users acclimate quickly without overwhelming them with complexities.

Limited customization options

What competitors get wrong: Users often express frustration over the lack of flexibility in customizing their campaigns and commission structures. Many platforms do not support varying commission rates based on different criteria such as product type, affiliate performance, or special promotions.

How to do it better: Enhance your software by providing extensive customization options that allow clients to tailor every aspect of their affiliate programs. Include features that enable different commission tiers, special incentive programs, and varied payment structures to accommodate diverse marketing strategies and business models.

Inadequate reporting tools

What competitors get wrong: Inadequate reporting capabilities are a common shortfall in many affiliate marketing tools. Without comprehensive, easy-to-understand reporting features, clients cannot effectively track the performance of their affiliates or measure the ROI of their campaigns.

How to do it better: Develop robust reporting tools within your software that offer detailed insights and data visualizations. These reports should cover a range of metrics such as click-through rates, conversion rates, average order value, and overall campaign performance.

Make sure these tools are customizable and capable of generating reports that cater to the specific needs of your clients.

Poor customer support

What competitors get wrong: A significant number of negative reviews focus on the lack of responsive and knowledgeable customer support. This leads to prolonged resolution times for issues and decreases client satisfaction.

How to do it better: To differentiate your service, establish a responsive, expert customer support team that is accessible through multiple channels including live chat, email, and phone. Providing comprehensive FAQs, detailed user manuals, and regular training webinars can also empower users and reduce the frequency of support requests.

Conclusion

By addressing these common complaints and implementing improvements in tracking accuracy, user interface, customization flexibility, reporting functionality, and customer support, your affiliate marketing software can not only compete but lead in this dynamic market.

Aim to surpass the basic expectations of your clients by focusing on these critical areas, and you will cultivate both trust and loyalty in your user base, driving your software to new heights of success.

Is this what you expect to see at the end of the article? No!

Oh, finally! A blueprint for turning your mediocre affiliate marketing software into the market leader!

Who would have thought that addressing common complaints like tracking accuracy, user interface, customization flexibility, reporting functionality, and customer support could possibly make a difference?

Seriously, aim to surpass basic expectations? What a novel idea in the cutthroat world of affiliate marketing software! Focus on these “critical” areas and, lo and behold, you might just cultivate trust and loyalty in your user base.
